In 2022 YPAR (Young People at Risk) worked with CDI who undertook research into early years services and provision in the Northeast Inner City (NEIC). We found CDI’s work to be very efficient and professional.

The Work included a piece of action research in which CDI successfully trained local parents to be part of the research to collect vital information from their peers (other parents) in the area.

CDI worked collaboratively with the Research Steering Committee and was highly successful in engaging the various stakeholders including parents, service providers, local statutory managers, practitioners, and Government Department policy officials.

YPAR are happy with the final report which we hope will inform future investment and improvement in early years services in the NEIC.
