CDI’s revised Quality Services, Better Outcome (QSBO) training series was launched in May with the first module – ‘An Introduction to Quality Services, Better Outcomes’. New dates and modules will be announced in July!
This training series is made up of nine modules based on what we know works in improving services and outcomes for children and families.
What is the QSBO?
CDI has identified eight elements that are fundamental to designing, delivering and sustaining quality interventions. Together these elements form the QSBO framework.
Each element has a dedicated training module which combines practical experience and examples from CDI’s work, with up-to-date theory from Implementation Science.
Who is it for?
All individuals and services that work with children and families.
What will I learn at the first introductory training?
The first training in the QSBO series – ‘An Introduction to Quality Services, Better Outcomes’ – will introduce you to:
- The key principles of evidence-based and evidence-informed interventions;
- Implementation Science, its ‘stages’, ‘drivers’ and ‘barriers’;
- How and when to use data in design, delivery and evaluation of interventions.
The training will also provide a strong foundation for the following QSBO modules:
How much will it cost and where is it?
The training is designed as a half day session and will cost 65€.
The training will take place at CDI’s office in Fettercairn, Tallaght.
