Training in the Solihull Approach
The Solihull Approach promotes emotional health and well being in children and families. The model supports practitioners to work with families and increase parents’ understanding of their child. The Solihull Approach is an evidence based model with a strong theoretical foundation.
At the end of the foundation course participants will
- Increase knowledge of the underpinning evidence and theories in;
- Baby brain development
- Containment
- Reciprocity
- Behaviour management
- To think about how each area can help you in your approach to working with families and children
The training will be held over two days on Monday 24th February and Wednesday 4th March, 2020
From 9.00am to 4.30pm at the CDI Offices, Fettercairn, Tallaght.
Please note you must be available to attend both full training days and engage in a community of practice after completion of the foundation course.
Cost: The 2 days training is provided free of charge
Time: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
