The Solihull Approach promotes emotional health and well being in children and families. The model supports practitioners to work with families and increase parents’ understanding of their child. The Solihull Approach is an evidence based model with a strong theoretical foundation.
At the end of the foundation course participants will
- Increase knowledge of the underpinning evidence and theories in;
- Baby brain development
- Containment
- Reciprocity
- Behaviour management
- To think about how each area can help you in your approach to working with families and children
The training will be held online via Zoom over four days – Tuesday 14th, Thursday 16th, Monday 21st, Thursday 23rd July. Times: 10am to 1pm.
Please note you must be available to attend the full training days and engage in a community of practice after completion of the foundation course.
Places are very limited and offered to health care professionals working in the Tallaght area.
