Following on from our Toddler Talk online parent sessions Chit Chat have commissioned Everyday OT Ireland to deliver their very successful ‘Becoming a Sensory Detective’ workshop to parents in Dublin 24!
Life is full of sensory experiences, we all respond to sensory information differently. This webinar series will provide parents with a deeper understanding of their child’s sensory systems, support their ability in identifying their child dynamic sensory profile and empower them in using sensory based tools and strategies to support that sensory profile.
When you explore and understand your child’s profile then you can start to identify their needs and support them in the best way that is individual to them.
Sessions will be delivered online free to parents and carers living in Dublin 24.
Everyday OT and its services are run by Kevin Prior, a highly trained Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist and Áine Curtin, a Paediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant. Kevin’s passion for OT stems from the OT support he received as a child with a physical disability and as a neurodivergent teen with a diagnosis of dyslexia. Áine’s passion for OT comes from her want to understand and support her daughter who is Autistic.
Kevin and Áine are members of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI) and the Paediatric Occupational Therapy Advisory Group. Kevin is also registered with the professional governing body CORU.
