CDI Named “Best Not-for-Profit Organisation” at South Dublin County Business Awards
In a night filled with anticipation and excitement, Childhood Development Initiative (CDI) proudly accepted the award for “Best Not-for-Profit Organisation” at the South Dublin County Business Awards, an esteemed event hosted by the South Dublin Chamber. The gala awards presentation evening took place on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Maldron Hotel in Tallaght.

This accolade stands as a testament to CDI’s unwavering commitment to the community and its exceptional work in Restorative Practices (RP). The award ceremony, hosted by the renowned Marty Whelan from RTE, welcomed over three hundred esteemed guests and was undoubtedly one of the most memorable events of the year in South Dublin County.

Awards Reflecting Excellence in Restorative Practices
CDI’s exceptional achievements in Restorative Practices training and support were recognised by this award. Claire Casey, CDI’s dedicated Restorative Practices Manager, expressed her gratitude during the acceptance speech. She commended the unwavering support of CDI’s board, staff, and RP trainers nationwide and especially acknowledged the enthusiastic Restorative Practices Coordinator, George Best, for his contributions.
In her speech, Claire Casey mentioned, “We are thrilled to have our efforts acknowledged with the ‘Best Not-for-Profit Organisation’ award. Restorative Practices (RP) is an evidence-based approach for improving staff and customer relationships and reducing conflicts in organizations. This recognition reflects our entire CDI team’s dedication and hard work, from our board to our team of 19 excellent RP Quality Specialists nationwide.”
